Romania's Constitutional Court has officially validated the results of the recent presidential election rerun, rejecting hard-right candidate George Simion’s annulment request. Simion had claimed foreign interference and voter fraud, but the court found the claims unsubstantiated. Pro-EU candidate and Bucharest mayor Nicușor Dan won convincingly with 53.6% of the vote.
